My name is Marianne Harvey. I am a geologist with more than 20 years of experience in mining. My plan for the future, however, is to become a Geoscience Communicator. My aims are to deliver information on our dynamic planet and inspiration to younger generations, to strive towards finding adaptive living solutions to our changing climate.

Homeward Bound is a state of the art leadership and strategic program for 78 women in science from around the globe. A once-in-a-lifetime journey to Antarctica — and a new future for our planet.

• Elevate the role of women in leadership globally
• Clearly demonstrate how polar science tells us what is happening with the planet
• Explore how women at the leadership table might give us a more sustainable future
